Peel with Zeal
Preheat the oven to 350 F. Butter a springform pan.
Whisk together all the dry ingredients.
Heat the sugar and molasses over low heat until the suagr is dissolved. Whisk in the DF butter.
Whisk milk, eggs, and vanilla. Slowly add to the sugar mix, whisking constantly.
Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the batter.
Bake for 40 minutes. Cool completely before decorating.
