Garlic Green Beans
Quick and easy sauteed garlic green beans are the perfect healthy weeknight side dish.

Fresh green beans, Garlic green beans, Garlicky green beans, Healthy green beans, Sauteed green beans
Large saute pan
fresh green beans
olive oil or ghee
chicken or vegetable stock
black pepper, to taste
Wash and trim the ends of the green beans.
Heat oil or ghee in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook 30 seconds. Add the green beans and toss to coat.
Add stock and cover skillet. Cook 6 to 8 minutes until green beans are al dente.
Uncover the skillet and add the salt and lemon juice. Cook until liquid evaporates and green beans are tender. Add a few cracks of black pepper and add additional salt if needed.
