Breath Mint Dog Treats
Homemade dog breath mint treats are easy to make from healthy whole food ingredients.

Ingredients

cups
oat flour
1
apple
cored and shredded
½
cup
fresh parsley
finely chopped
½
cup
fresh mint
finely chopped
2
eggs
or sub ⅓ cup applesauce
¼
teaspoon
cold water
3
tablespoon
coconut oil, melted
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350° F
In a large bowl all the ingredients together. Mix until the dough just comes together. It will be sticky.
Turn out onto a piece of parchment paper. Using another piece of parchment paper on top, press or roll out the dough.
Using a cookie cutter or knife cut out the treats into your preferred size*
Place mints about ¼-inch apart on a cookie sheet. Bake 35 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
Allow the treats to cool completely before feeding.

Notes
Lining the cooking sheet with parchment is optional but does prevent sticking.
*Cut the mints into sizes that appropriate for the size of your dog, i.e. the treats should be the size of the treats your dog normally receives.
Store in an airtight container or freeze for up to 3 months.
