Place the fish in the freezer for 5 to 10 minutes. Using a sharp knife, slice the salmon into thin pieces. Arrange the sliced salmon on a chilled plate.
In a bowl, toss the sliced cucumbers with the chili oil and lime zest. Add to the plate.
