Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Lightly brush both sides of the salmon with oil. Salt and pepper the top. Place in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until salmon reaches an internal temp reaches 135 degrees. You can broil the tops for the last 2 minutes if desired.
While the salmon is baking make the dill sauce. Serve over the salmon or on the side.
Creamy Yogurt Dill Sauce
Finely mince the dill and add to a bowl with the remaining ingredients. Stir to combine. Optional Blender Method: No need to mince the dill, just remove the stems and blend with the other ingredients for 30 seconds.

Searing Method:
Preheat your large oven-safe skillet on the stovetop over medium heat.
Once the skillet is hot, add 1-2 tablespoons oil to lightly coat the surface.
Place the salmon filets in the skillet skinside-down. Sear for 2-3 minutes.
After searing, transfer the entire skillet to a preheated oven.
Bake for 8-10 minutes more, until the salmon is cooked through.
