Ingredients
2cupseggnog beverageregular or dairy-free
2bagschai tea
3ouncesbourbon
Fresh nutmegcinnamon sticks, or star anise, for garnish
Instructions
In a small saucepan over medium heat, bring the eggnog to a simmer. Remove from heat and add the two chai tea bags. Let steep for 5–8 minutes. Squeeze out the excess liquid from the teabags into the eggnog, then discard the teabags.
Measure 1 ½ cups of the eggnog mixture into a measuring cup. Add the bourbon and stir to combine. Divide the mixture evenly between two mugs.
Pour the remaining eggnog mixture into the measuring cup and use a handheld milk frother to foam it. Pour the frothed eggnog over the bourbon mixture and garnish.
