Mkae the simple cyrup by adding ¼ cup water and sugar to a saucepan. Heat over low to dissolve the sugar.
In a blender, puree the canned lychees with 1 cup of water until smooth. Strain the juice.
In a pitcher, combine the lemon juice, remaining cold water, lychee juice, and simple syrup. Stir well. Serve over ice.
Notes
For sweeter lemonade, add additional cooled simple syrup as desired.
Straining the pureed lychee reduces chalkiness.
Keep chilled for up to 3 days.
