Use a spice grinder to pulverize the dried lavender, about 15 seconds. Stir the lavender powder into the sugar,
Food Processor Method
Add the dried lavender buds to the bowl of your food processor and process for 15 seconds. Add the sugar and process on high for 30 seconds. The lavender should be ground and mixed well with the sugar.
Notes
Store the sugar in a clean glass jar for up to 6 months.
You can use the sugar right away but 1 to 2 weeks stored in a cool dark place will allow the flavors to infuse.
Use culinary lavender which has less oils and is less aromatic than what is used in perfumes and bath products.
