Fruit pizza is one of my favorite gluten-free desserts for summer, along with gluten-free icebox cakes and refreshing fruit popsicles. There is just something fun and familiar about it, but you know I had to throw in a twist.

📖Why This Recipe Works
This healthy gluten-free fruit pizza recipe is unique because it uses a brownie mix base to save time—no need to measure out ingredients or make a complicated gluten-free sugar cookie dough.
And everyone loves chocolate!
But better than that, I kept things healthy by using a high-protein brownie mix by Naked Nutrition called Naked Brownie. It is low in sugar, gluten-free, and soy-free. And you just need to add water!
Easy to customize with your favorite fruit. Or stick with red and blue berries for the Fourth of July or Memorial Day.
🧾Ingredient Notes
In addition to your brownie mix, you will need the following few items:
Cream Cheese- You can use regular cream cheese or Neufchatel cream cheese which is a type of reduced-fat cream cheese.
Vanilla Extract
Powdered Sugar - You can also use maple syrup, honey or skip the sugar if you like.
Fresh Fruit- Use your favorite fruit from peaches to fresh strawberries. Just stay away from things that brown when sliced like bananas and apples.
See the recipe card for exact quantities.
⏲️How to Make Gluten-Free Fruit Pizza
This recipe starts with preheating your oven to 350 F degrees. I prefer to use a pizza pan for this recipe.
But you can use any baking sheet. I don't recommend using a cake pan because you want the crust to have room to spread.
Step 1- Prepare the Crust
The pizza dough is going to be the brownie mix prepped according to the package instructions. Pour the mix onto the greased pan.
Use a rubber spatula to move it around and form a circle. Bake for 20 minutes. Once a knife comes out clean the brownie crust is ready to cool.
Step 2- Frosting and Fruit
Grab a medium bowl and add in the softened cream cheese, sugar, and a dash of vanilla extract. Now, let's beat everything on high until it turns all light and fluffy – usually takes about 3 minutes or so.
For the fruit, You can slice it or leave it whole (assuming you have bite-sized berries here). I like to have a mix.
Step 3- Decorate
Spread your fluffy cream cheese over the cooled brownie base. Top with your fruit.
If you're feeling fancy add edible flowers, mint leaves, or a little orange or lemon zest on top. Serve your beautiful gluten-free brownie pizza immediately.
👩🏻🍳 Expert Tip
Add chocolate chips to your brownie batter. The Naked Brownie already has them in the mix and it makes such a difference!
🌡️Storing Leftovers
If you have any leftover slices of your chocolaty fruit pizza, wrap them tightly in plastic wrap or store them in an airtight container. Then, place them in the refrigerator.
The cream cheese frosting and fresh fruits will be good for about 2-3 days.

💭 Frequently Asked Questions
Cream cheese will take 30 to 60 minutes to soften at room temperature. If you take it out of the fridge when the cookie base goes into the oven it will be ready by the time the cookie crust has cooled.
Yes, to make fruit pizza cookies simply do ½ cup of brownie mix evenly spaced on your greased sheet pan. Reduce baking time by 8 minutes. Cook and assemble your mini fruit pizzas according to the recipe card instructions.
I don't recommend using a whipped topping. It won't hold up as well in the heat and will break down under the fruit causing it to get runny and make the pizza crust soggy.
