This easy cocktail takes a classic recipe and gives it a fancy makeover. This blueberry mimosa recipe swaps out traditional orange juice for a lemon-blueberry combo. Blueberry mimosas are the drink you need this summer, refreshing and lightly sweet. I think it rounds out a weekend brunch perfectly.

📖Why This Recipe Works
The splash of lemon juice balances the sweetness of the syrup and brightens the blueberry flavor.
🧾Ingredient Notes
- Sparkling Wine- While you can use champagne my preference is a dry prosecco. It is affordable and delicious.
- Blueberry Syrup- This recipe uses my homemade blueberry simple syrup made from fresh blueberries. So much better than storebought. You can also make a blackberry version using this blackberry simple syrup recipe. This syrup can be made ahead of time which will give it time to cool.
- Lemon- Use fresh lemon juice or bottled. But I like to use fresh so I have a peel on hand for a garnish.
Expert Tip
Be sure your bubbly is ice cold. Keep it in the fridge for three hours before serving, or in a Champagne bucket in a mixture of ice and water for 30 minutes.
Save any extra blueberry syrup to make blueberry margaritas or my favorite blueberry lemon martinis.
